What Is A Declaration of Trust?

A Declaration of Trust is the document that establishes the details of your trust, and spells out the capabilities, rights, and duties of the trust. It is typically 30-50 pages depending on if you are single or married. The trust is revocable and able to be changed. You are the owner (Trustor) and Manager (Trustee) of your trust, and you assign a Manager (Successor Trustee) after your death. The trust spells out who the Beneficiaries and Residuary Beneficiaries are and the assets assigned to each one. At Integrity Trust Services, LLC we carefully prepare this document for you to ensure all of your assets are properly cared for after your passing.
